Business Environment

Qatar's recent spectacular development of Energy related and industrial projects, based on the world's third largest proven gas reserve, is well known.

At the backbone of this development are two major LNG projects operated by Qatar Liquefied Natural Gas Company ("Qatargas") and Ras Laffan Liquefied Natural Gas Company ("Rasgas").

Foreign companies, investing in a variety of huge industrial projects, have benefited from not only an advantageous energy price, but also the favourable business environment that exists in Qatar.

BNP Paribas is uniquely positioned to advise the increasing number of foreign companies of all sizes who wish to invest in, trade with, or export to Qatar, thus enabling their participation in the country's continuing rapid pace of development.
